Eight common issues in using pigment paste for non-woven fabric dyeing

During the dyeing process of nonwoven fabric, due to characteristics such as loose fiber structure, uneven adsorption, and short dyeing time, the use of water-based pigment paste is prone to several typical issues.

1 Uneven staining (colorful flowers, light and dark stripes)

-Uneven depth on the fabric surface

-Striped color difference

-Local color tends to be darker.

2 Appearance of color dots (small particles)

-Small color particles appear on the fabric surface

-Local small black or colored dots.

3 Light colors cannot be dyed or the color is too light

-A large amount of pigment paste is used, but the color is still very light

-Poor color fastness.

4 The color is too dark and difficult to control the light color

-A little bit of pigment paste makes the color very dark

-Difficult to make light colors.

4. The color is too dark and difficult to control for lighter shades

- A small amount of color paste results in a deep hue

- Difficult to achieve light colors.

5. Color fading or rubbing off after pigment dyeing

- Hand wipe has color

-Washing causes color fading.

6. The fabric feels harder after pigment dyeing

The fabric becomes hard

-Softness decreases.

7 Floating color appears on the fabric surface after storage

-Leave it for a period of time, and the color will become lighter

-Surface powdering appears

8 Different batches of colors are unstable

-The same formula has significant color differences
